Nellie Mae Law was born on June 9, 1938, in Floyd County. She later moved to Cobb County, where she met the love of her life, Roy Perry Law. The two were married in 1955 in Paulding County and shared many years together building a family. Nellie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was a nurse by profession and a caregiver by nature, selflessly caring for many throughout her life. Nellie was humble, kind, and deeply loving. Though she had little, she gave so much of herself to others, always loving with her whole heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lee Ola Marshall; her father, Roy Scroggs; her brother, J.R. Scroggs; her husband, Roy Law; and her oldest son, Johnny Law (Shelia). She is survived by her children: Ronald Law; Harold Law (Faye); Jimmy Law (Deborah); Brenda Stauffer (Jake); and Susan Pichardo (Brad); along with 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Nellie will be deeply missed but forever held in our hearts. We find comfort in knowing she is now at home with Jesus.
