

Wade was a devoted Christian, a loving father, son, brother, and grandfather. He grew up in Powder Springs and went on to play college football, a sport he remained passionate about throughout his life. He later pursued a career as a builder, where he was respected for his skill and dedication. Above all, Wade cherished his family. He was especially proud of his children and found great joy in welcoming his first grandchild last year.
Wade is survived by his parents, Michael and Ann Ellis; his son, Nate Ellis, and his fiancée, Hadleigh Baker; his daughter, Anna Long, and her husband, Brendon Long; and his grandson, Ellis Long. He is also survived by his sister, Katy Kwiatkowski, and her husband, Jim Kwiatkowski; and his brother, Ben Ellis.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home.
