

Jason Llewelyn Montgomery, 69, of Martinsville, went to be with his Lord and Savior from his home on Friday, May 30, 2014. He was born in Carroll County, August 14, 1944 to Willie Burman Montgomery and Eulalah Allison Montgomery, both deceased. He worked for Stanley and American Furniture and retired from Hooker Furniture. Jason enjoyed breakfast at the D & A Café where he met with friends most every morning. He enjoyed family vacations, taking his family shopping, and bluegrass music, however his greatest joy was playing with his grandson, Kaden. Jason was a member of Collinsville Church of The Brethren.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Hall Montgomery of the home; one daughter, Jennifer Montgomery Paitsel and husband Kevin of Martinsville; one grandson, Kaden Paitsel; two sisters, Lucille Montgomery of Hillsville and Rosie Ann Breeden of Charlottesville; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Jarrett and husband Mark of Martinsville; one brother-in-law, Richard Hall of Martinsville; nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville and other times at the Residence.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at McKee-Stone Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy McVey officiating. Interment will be held at the Allison Chapel Church of God in Carroll County at 2:00 p.m. Monday.
