He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Prillaman Moore; daughter, Susanne Moore Travis and her husband Mario; son, Lucas Arthur Moore and his wife Anna; grandchildren, Max Moore, Jeras Travis, Lucas Moore, Rylan Travis, Ryver Travis and Tyson Moore; many nieces, nephews and cousins; lifelong friends, Sue Smith Underwood and Kelly Shorter.
Jerry loved spending time with his grandsons, listening to and playing bluegrass music, reading, and watching western movies.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Starling Avenue Baptist Church and will be officiated by Reverends Ashley and Brian Harrington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
