Martha Dolores Eden, 99, died of natural causes in Martinsville, VA on September 15. She was born in Twin Branch, West Virginia to Myrtle and Alex Eden and raised in Pruden, Tennessee. She and her family worked for the Pruden Coal Company. She moved to Knoxville in the 1950’s and worked as a secretary at the Oak Ridge Laboratories until her retirement. She is predeceased by her younger siblings Lucille, John, and James Eden, and nephew Clark Eden. She was an adoring aunt to surviving nephews Scott, Jim, and John Eden, as well as many great nieces, great nephews, and their children. Dolores was a long time member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden. She participated in many programs including the Senior Choir, The Good Life Club, garden club, and much more. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 21 at 3 pm at Central Baptist Church of Bearden.
