Age 90, died September 11, 2015; born October 14, 1924 to Ernest and Mildred Siedelberg in Lansing, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971 and her Master of Arts in 1974. She taught in the Cedar Street School from 1977 to 1987 and the North Aurelius School, retiring in July 1987. She was a member of the Mason Art Guild and the Aurelius Baptist Church. She married Wesley W. Van Andel on May 21, 1944 and he preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters, Jann Marie Van Andel, Jill Ann Hill, Julie Backus, son Joel Van Andel and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bea was a good and faithful follower of Jesus and she served him well. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Aurelius Baptist Church, 4419 W. Barnes Rd., Mason, MI. The family is being served by the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball Dunn Chapel, Mason, MI.
