Grand Ledge, MI
Born September 27, 1929, the daughter of Clyde and Murdy (Roberts) Mascho, passed away March 12, 2011, at the age of 81. Betty was formerly from the Mason, MI area, loved to take care of people, and was very active with the Cole-Briggs American Legion #48 of Grand Ledge. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Don “Bromo” Crowner; grand-daughter, Nicole Miner; and brother Ed Whitlake. Surviving are loving family, daughters, Rosalyn (Larry) Beck, Tammy (Vernon) Thelen; sons, Mark (Rainey) Crowner, Kirk (Maria) Crowner, Dwight (Cindy) Crowner; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Glen (Betty) Mascho. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes (Ball Dunn Chapel), 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI with the Rev. Stephen Ezop officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
