Bonnie Mae Copher of Augusta, Michigan, born December 23, 1938 to Winifred and Oneita (Ketchum) Sharpe, passed away September 9, 2014 at the age of 75. Mrs. Copher was an active Air Force wife for 23 years. She enjoyed bird watching, NASCAR, the Detroit Tigers and golf. Her favorite season was the fall and all its colors. She gave of herself to family, friends and neighbors. Her family was important to her along with her dog, Alex, who was her companion for the last 10years. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, James Larry Copher and her son, Shane. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Alona (Kevin) Smith; sons, Faron Copher and Scott (Teresa) Copher; 8 granchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Jim) Neider and Mary (Charles) Bowman. She will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery with her husband, James. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball Dunn Chapel. Mason, MI.
