

Ethan Donald Lockwood, a resident of Mason, Michigan, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 21. Born on June 25, 2004, Ethan was cherished by his family and friends for his genuine love and bright spirit.
Ethan was the beloved son of Jason and Cheryl Lockwood, and a devoted brother to Jackson, McKenzie, and Brooklyn Lockwood. He was a grandson to Dennis and Gayle Lockwood, and Robert and Sandra Bolton. Ethan was also a cherished nephew to Chad (and Kira) Lockwood, Jennifer Lloyd, Laurie (and Mitchell Raupp), and Michelle Bolton. He leaves behind many cousins, including Keira, Teagan, Broden, and Corbin Lloyd, as well as Jasmine Bolton, Dakota and Harper Hall, and Kyle and Chase Lockwood.
Ethan had a passion for collecting baseball hats, mugs, playing cards, and pop tart boxes. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and had a deep appreciation for space, history, music, bonfires, and nature. His interests also included playing Minecraft, enjoying Chinese food, cheese, and sour cream, and had an affectionate nature with pets and animals. Ethan was known for his athletic abilities, particularly in soccer, which he played at Olivet. He was a natural leader and motivator, with a great sense of humor and an incredibly bright intelligence.
Ethan was deeply involved in supporting and attending his siblings' sports events, where he found joy in being with them, as they were his best friends. He also enjoyed lifting weights at the gym with friends, playing board games and poker, attending concerts and tailgates, and participating in pick-up basketball and intramural soccer. Movies were another of his many interests. Ethan also was proudly serving his country as a current member of the Michigan National Guard.
Ethan's presence was a bright light in everyone’s life, and he will be remembered for his genuine love for everyone he met.
The memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4th, 2025, between the hours of 4 pm until 7 pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11 am at the Mason First Presbyterian Church, 131 E Maple St, Mason, MI 48854. The family will gather at church on Friday beginning at 10 am to greet friends until the service.
