Gerald D. Pulver, age 79, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in Mason, MI. He was born April 1, 1931, in Leslie, MI to H.S. and Bertine (Brownlee) Pulver. Gerald was a lifetime resident of Ingham County and honorably served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was one of the last home milk delivery men for Sealtest. Gerald was a member of the First United Methodist church of Mason for 58 years. He retired from the St. of MI, Department of Corrections.
Preceded in death by his sister, Claire Heaton. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Marjorie (Every); daughter Jenean Battin of Mason; 2 sons, Joe (Linda) Pulver of Mason and Edward (Beth) Pulver of Arizona City, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Wesley (Vonda) Pulver of Potterville, Marv (Shari) Pulver of Maricopa, AZ, Harold (Carolyn) Pulver of Concord, MI); and sister, Wilma (John) Causie of Leslie, MI.
Memorial Services with military honors will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 17, 2010, at First United Methodist Church of Mason, 201 E. Ash, Mason, MI 48854 with the Rev. Dwayne Bagley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 5-8 PM and Friday 9:30-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Mason. The family is being served by the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason, MI.
