It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet little boy Grant. Grant William Prevo passed away at his home on December 20th, 2020 after a battle with Familial Dysautonomia surrounded by the love of his family.
Grant was an amazing boy who was loved by anyone and everyone that met him. His smile would always light up the room. He gave the best hugs and had the most contagious laugh. Some of Grant’s favorite things were gecko from P.J. Mask, the color green, bubbles, and his flashlight.
Grant had an amazing imagination and loved to build planes and car legos with his dad and brother. Grant had his daddy wrapped around his sweet little finger. He loved his siblings very much and would always want to have dance parties in the living room with his sisters. Grant loved to snuggle with his stuffed animals and blankets, but out of everything, his favorite thing to do was to have snuggles with his momma.
Grant was faced with a difficult challenge in his life that prevented him from seeing many things. Grant had a very special bond with each of his siblings. They love their brother and helped him in any way they could to still have the best experiences in life.
Grant faced Familial Dysautonomia with great strength and courage that inspired everyone that knew his story. He was brave and through all the difficulties that he encountered he always did it with a smile on his face.
Grant is survived by his Parents, Brandon and Amanda Prevo of Leslie; Siblings, Kayleeann, Marleana, Chloe, Nickolas, Olivia, and Haizlee; Grandparents, David and Bonnie Roberts of Lansing, Chris Prevo of Mason, and Steve Prevo of Flint; Great Grandparents, Henrietta Roberts of Mason, Carl McQueen of Remus, Jay and Mary Ruthruff of Blanchard, Gerald and Karen Reynolds of Flint, and Lester and Nancy Prevo of Flint; Aunts and Uncles, Justin and Andrea Prevo of Ortonville, Bridget Beghtel and Andrew Miller of Mason, and Sammy and Brian Karsten of St. Johns; Cousins, Andrew, Alexandra, Isabelle, Lorenzo, Madaline, Brooklyn, Ava, Alexa, Abby, Cady, and Hunter.
