Irene A. Voss

Mason, formerly of Dansville, Michigan

Age 89, died September 10, 2012. She was born April 19, 1923 to A. O. and Mildred (Laughlin) Greenough in Royal Oak, Michigan. Irene was a member of Mason Community Church and loved to travel and paint. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orin (1990), granddaughter, Nannette Dahlgren (2009) and sister, Betty Ann Eldred (2011). Irene is survived by 2 daughters, Maralyn (Donald) Hillhouse, Barbara (Jack) Kurtz, 1 son, Tom (Diane) Voss, 3 grandchildren DeWayne (Ashley) Voss, Christine (Doug) Dye, Kimberly (Todd) Thie, 6 great grandchildren Matthew Dahlgren, Shannon Dahlgren, Timothy Dahlgren, Eli Kurtz-Dillard, Emily Butinski-Parra, Neal Voss, 3 brothers Ralph (Gigi) Greenough, Charles (June) Greenough, Robert (Fay) Greenough and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Irene’s Life will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan with the Rev. Steve Malson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
