Martha Amanda Hansen

Leslie, Michigan

Age, 91, died June 29, 2015; born April 4, 1924 to William and Cuma (Swihart) Leckrone. Martha retired at age 72 from Wyeth Laboratories and had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed gardening, baking and canning. She loved her family and lending a helping hand. She will be missed dearly.

Martha was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Allen and daughter-in-law Sharol Hansen. Surviving to cherish her memory is her sister Betty Bielecki; sister-in-law, Pat Leckrone; daughters, Marilyn (Jerry) Kurtzhals, Marsha (Curt) Robb, Denise (Don) Warvel, Ruth (Jerry) Ward; sons, Dennis (Tamma) Hansen, Brian (Nancy) Hansen, Ron (Betty) Hansen, Lyndon (Theresa) Hansen; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mason Community Church, 1000 E. Columbia Street, Mason, Michigan with Rev. Steve Malson officiating. Interment will follow at Felt Plains Cemetery, Leslie, Michigan. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan and 1 hour prior to the service at the Church. The family would like to thank Eaton County Health and Rehabilitation Services for all their wonderful care in the past 8 years. The family would like to especially thank Martha's granddaughter, Julie, for the special care of her grandmother.
