Mike was the Father of my best friend Chris.  What I remember most about Mike was his kindness.  I would encourage family, friends and even strangers to reach out and make the world around them a little sweeter by actively looking for ways to be extra kind in his memory.  
For a recipient-a simple act of love or “Kindness” can change the course of thier day even thier life.  I think Mike knew that “Kindness” has a way of changing the person who is reaching out.  When we do reach out, even only if it’s small and simple, that moment of satisfaction and peace we get is truly soul restoring.  I believe Mike still looking out for his family would smile so brightly we would all see and feel his peace.

A friend whom never said a bad word about anyone, he was devoted to his wife, children and  grandchildren.  Kindness and helpfulness were his nature and I'll never forget Einstein, a nickname given him because of  an amazing resemblance to the scientist.  What a world we'd have if we had more people with Mike's heart and warmth

I remember you and your mom and dad came down to grandpa and grandma's to stay for the weekend when we were kids. Uncle Harvey would take us to burnett woods to play in the park. My family would come to your house and dad and uncle Harvey would go hunting. Then our parents would go to the talent show at the prison.Would be years till we seen each other again, probably my parents funeral. Really enjoyed going to your daughters wedding and meeting your family they were all so friendly and I felt like they new us forever. RIP Mike! Wish we could have spent more time together. My shared history with Mike goes back to our Grandparents, but most vividly, is a memory of Mike sitting at the desk behind me at Sts. Cornelius and Cyprian school. He had a sense of humor back in 2nd grade. Holding on to my hair (pig tail) through the ink hole in the desk. He and several other children giggled when Sister told me to sit up straight. My reply was, I can't, more giggles.  All ended well.   
 Mike held on to his catholic values and was a great example for all to witness. We enjoyed seeing his large family file into church and wondered at how sweet they were. Participating in the Mass together. Our sincere condolences to his beautiful family. May the Angels welcome him to paradise.

Michael was an AMAZING man and the best bonus Grandpa to Mason. He will be forever loved.

I worked with Mike at the shop. He was the best, I don't think I ever worked with a more dedicated man.he was always willing to help out anywhere you needed him & would do it with his pleasant smile. I pray God enjoys his company as much as I did. I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

Mike worked with me at G.M. He was the best of workers & always had a cheerful attitude. Always ready to help wherever he was needed. He was special  & will be greatly missed by many. I pray God enjoys his company as much as I did.

I did my first (and only) DALMAC with Michael and Matt. Those were wonderful 5 days. 

I thoroughly enjoyed being able to share some areas of Western Colorado with Mike, Marcia and Jennifer in July, 2016. We also visited the Colorado National Monument, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and climbed the Craig Crest Trail on the top of the Grand Mesa. It was a fun time. Mike will be missed by many, including us,

I had another unused yellow lunch bag on standby for Mike. I gave him mine bc I noticed his original was pretty beat up. 💓  He was a wonderful person, coworker,  union brother and friend. He will definitely be missed. My condolences to the family.
