Monica grew up in Mt. Clemens and Whitmore Lake, Michigan attending high school in St. Clair Shores. She was currently living in Stockbridge. Monica was creative loving quilting and sewing. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling, and board games.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 30+ years, Terry; her son, Kevin (Kim) Schultz, stepdaughters, Rebecca (Jan) Sabin, Christina (Rick) Barnes; grandchildren, Ashley (David) Hughes and Jessica (Chris) Zeitz, Michael and Christopher Barnes, Elliott and Kennedy Sabin; and one great-grandchild, Abigail Hughes.
A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 followed by a service at 12 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Ball Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St. in Mason. A procession to Maple Grove Cemetery will follow the service. Friends are invited to a luncheon at Eden United Brethren Church after services conclude. Contributions may be made to the Eden United Brethren Church, 1938 Eden Rd., Mason, MI 48854 in memory of Monica.
