Patrick Dean Barrett

Trufant, MI (Formerly of Mason)

Age 51, passed away May 15, 2010, losing the battle of pneumonia. He was born October 20, 1958 in Carson City, MI to William L. and Dorothy E. (Wilson) Barrett.

After leaving Potterville High School, he joined the Army and trained to be a Medic at the Ford Hood base in TX. Upon discharge from the Army in 1982, he returned to MI where he spent most of his career in the Office Furniture Business. He was a devoted family man who loved life and touched all those around him. He will be missed by all.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father and mother. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca (Kelley); children, Kristopher Barrett, Kandace (Jason) McConnell, Krystal (Samuel) Hodge, Jessica (Justin) Stahl, Kyle Barrett, Casey Droscha, Bryce Droscha; 8 grandchildren; and brothers, William (Kathy) Barrett, David (Linda) Barrett, Timothy (Cindy) Barrett, Shawn (Trisha) Barrett.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI with the Rev. Timothy T. Tuthill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
