Robert G. Harmon, Sr., age 79, died April 18, 2011. He was born December 4, 1931, in Lansing, MI, to Ollie Lee and Gertrude Louisa (Gibson) Harmon. Robert was a very successful entrepreneur starting many businesses. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son Daniel (2003). Surviving are one daughter, Sue (Jon) Vandouser; 3 sons, Bobby Harmon, Eddie Harmon and friend Debra Donald; and Johnny Harmon; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Ron Harmon; sister, Joyce (Richard) Young; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2011, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI 48854. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
