Robert Paul Jupp

Robert Paul "Bob" Jupp, a cherished educator and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, in Mason, Michigan. Born on September 16, 1944, in Jackson, Michigan, Bob was the beloved son of the late John Paul Jupp and Martha Mae Catt.

Bob's life was marked by a deep commitment to education and community. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Michigan State University, where he also proudly played the snare drum in the MSU marching band, embodying the Spartan spirit. His passion for teaching led him to a distinguished 38-year career as a math teacher at Michigan Center High School in Michigan Center, MI. Additionally, Bob dedicated 30 years to teaching driver's education, impacting countless young lives with his patience and expertise.

In 1967, Bob married the love of his life, Kristine Mary Jupp, at the MSU chapel. Their marriage spanned 51 years until Kristine's passing in 2018. Together, they built a loving family, raising their sons, Shannon, Michael and Aaron. Bob's legacy continues through his son Michael and daughter-in-law Karen, his son Aaron, and his cherished granddaughter Michaela. He is also fondly remembered by his cousins Sally Fauser, Rod Jupp; Sister in Law Shireen Luther, Brother in law - Gerald Luther, Nieces -Jennifer Worrey, Laura Engerman and Nephew Thomas Wentland.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Wife Kristine Jupp and his son Shannon.

Bob's life was a testament to dedication, love, and service. His contributions to education and his unwavering support for his family and community will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A visitation for Robert will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gorsline-Runciman Mason Chapel located at 621 S. Jefferson St. Mason, MI 48854. A Funeral Service will occur Monday, December 9, 2024 at Gorsline-Runciman Mason Chapel located at 621 S. Jefferson St. Mason, MI 48854 starting at 11am, and family will be receiving visitors an hour prior beginning at 10am. A burial will occur Monday, December 9, following the service at Maple Grove Cemetery, 213 N Jefferson St, Mason, MI 48854.
