Steven Wayne Dodds

He was proud to belong to the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous for 14 years. Steven loved golfing, bowling, trips to the casino, fishing from his pontoon, attending and hosting Alcoholics Anonymous events. He was a member of VFW Post 7309 Men’s auxiliary.

Steven was preceeded in death by parents, and brother, Tom Mathews. Surviving are his wife, Lorrie (Vaughn) Dodds of 17 years; one son, Bob (Tracey) Dodds; and 2 grandchildren, Kayliann and Easton Dodds; 3 brothers, David (Pam) Frame, Roger Mathews, Mike (Anne) Smyth; one sister, Susie (Danny) Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI, with Father Kusitino Cobona officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, July 1, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. with a 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Leslie, MI.
