Hi Dad, I really miss you and wish you were here! I found pictures of you and video of when I visited you in Ohio for Christmas and bought you many Gifts. Oh it was funny. You wanted to yell at me for spending money ... Then you opened all your gifts and loved them. I miss buying you stuff Dad! Please watch over me! I love you!

I never met Mr. Disenza in person...but I knew Sabrina for many years when she lived in the bay area....and through her...but I believe I met him though her stories about him. I am very sorry for your loss...he seemed to be a great and admired man. Hold together, and you and your family will make it through this time of loss. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

To the Discenza family and loved ones.  May I offer you my deepest condolences in your time of loss as these times can be challenging, but knowing your family strength, you will all be there to support one another.  

In my time of knowing Mr. Discenza (Tony) I've always had a great amount of respect for the love and pride he holds.  His love of cooking, wines and dried sausage.  Flowers in the spring and well kept garden.  Mr. Discenza, you will be missed by all.

My introduction to Mr. Discenza was through his loving daughter Sabrina, who all the time that I knew her, the focus was making sure her father was comfortable in every respect of the word.  Giving her life to show her love for her father and offering her love and comfort when her father needed this most.  Traveling from California back to Ohio at the every request of her father.  Sabrina cared for Mr. Discenza from the deepest of her heart and there was nothing that she wouldn't do for him, regardless of the impact on her life.  Sabrina, I offer you my respect, love and admiration for who you are as a person and your selfless act of kindness and expressed loved.

Nico, your father was so proud of your accomplishments.  The last time I was with all of you together was seeing your fathers face gleam with pride as he stood next to his son in hi police uniform during your graduation from the Police Academy.  Nico, your father held you in the highest regard for all that you have accomplished.  If there is anything I can do, offer or assist with, please don't hesitate to call me.

Mrs. Discenza, you have always been the pillar of strength in your family.  One who always practiced patience and understanding.  The support you have provided your children has always been admired and the love was present through each and every discussion you've had with your children.  Please let me know if there is anything that I can offer of assistance.  

Mr. Discenza, may you rest in peace with the success of your children to carry on your pride and family tradition that you taught so well.

Dear Nico,Sabrina, Frances, so sorry for the loss of your dad, friend and my Padrino. I don't feel he will ever be gone, he holds tons of memories for so many of us. Everyone is blessed for knowing him and having him as a friend. He will be with us always. Mario.

Dear Nico, Sabrina and Aunt Frances,
Please know that "Uncle Tony" has left an imprint on the many lives he encountered in his life.  His zest for life, his love for music and dance, his tough love for all of you.  He was a special man, kind, gentle and very generous.  His smiling spirit is what we will remember most.  The relationship that I had with him was special.  I called him my "boyfriend", and always had such a good time joking around with him.  He was always afraid of getting in trouble with his jokes from Nick.. but I had some pull being his "girlfriend".  We always had a riot with him when the accordians were in motion.  He was always in search of a dance partner even if it meant he had to dance with his cane.  And when he could not dance, he tapped his feet and clapped his hands in joy of the music.  He was truly special.  He will be missed by my family so much.  And I know that my father in law and mother in law will deeply miss him as well.  They each had a never ending love for each other, in good and bad times.  Tony was like a brother to my father in law and I know they had a lot of fun together over the years.  I will be forever grateful to your mom and dad for all of the help they gave to my husband's family when they were moving here.  Had it not been for the insistence of your dad, I may have never met my prince charming.  Just one more reason to love your dad even more!   Thank you for sharing him with us.  He will forever be in a special place in all of our hearts.
May you find peace knowing that your dad touched many lives, and is now in a better place to call home.  Sabrina, May God Bless you for being by your dad's side through his illness.  You are a special angel, and so gifted at caring for others.  I am so proud of you for the care you gave to your dad.  Nico, so glad you were able to spend your quality time with your dad and with your beautiful family as well.  Aunt Frances, your support throughout Uncle Tony's sickness is more than commendable.  God Bless you all now and throughout the months ahead.
