Dear Ben, Mary and Tony,

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your dad.  My memories of Ben go back to my childhood and his family home in Chagrin Falls.  I spent many Sundays there with my sisters and cousins, enjoying Aunt Fanny’s wonderful Italian meals and listening to the adult conversations, which I couldn’t understand since they spoke Sicilian.  Your dad was a part of a warm and loving family; this being passed on to you by your dad and your mom.  I will miss Ben and your mom, Carmella.

During my years as an employer's rep and  negotiating claims with Ben, he always accepted my decisions and showed me respect.  In turn, I was always happy to see his name on a file because I respected his opinions and knew we would finalize the claim amicably for both sides.  A true gentleman.  May he rest in peace.

Sooo many memories of my cousins from Chagrin Falls: Uncle Ben, Aunt Fanny, Charlie, Joe, Ben and Feliicia.  All the Larca cousins and our "lunches" throughout the years warmed my heart as we talked about our families, childhood memories, memories of our parents, and current events.  We will miss Ben as we missed Marie (Carmella) at our get togethers. He had a smile and a hug for everyone.  I think we spent as much time just hugging each other hello and good- by, than we spent eating ! I loved his humor, matter of factness. and watching him drink that bottle of beer!  Keep your memories close to your hearts and keep your families close!  Love to you all

Ben, Mary & Tony - so very sorry for your loss.   Such wonderful memories I’ll always have of sharing a workplace with such a warm, kind, funny & loving man.  That friendship carried on into my retirement years & I always ended our conversations by letting your dad know he held, and will always hold, a special place in my heart. The world won’t be the same without him in it!  We lost a GOOD one.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Remember that although Mr M may no longer be with us in person, the memories we have of him will always be with us. I hope that you find comfort in knowing that he made a positive impact on my life and the lives of many others, and that his legacy will continue to live on. So long Mr M... I will miss you buddy!

     So very sorry to hear of Ben’s passing. I can’t help but remember the feelings I had  about 60 South Street, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, his family home when we were all growing up. What a joy it was for my sisters and I to visit!  It was warm, loving, and welcoming. My deepest sympathy to his entire family.
