

Carolyn Cafarelli (nee Yannantuono), age 101. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J., dearest mother of Anthony V. (Joanne), Anita (deceased), Carol Lenert (David), Darlene Wrage (Mike) and Jennifer Cristino (Justin); devoted grandmother of Danny Lenert (Lindsay), Amanda De Leon(Jordan), Emily Miltner (Adam), Kelsey Gilbert (Ben) and Jason Cafarelli; great grandmother of Blaine, Emmy, Greta, Mia, Belle, Stella, Harrison and Rio; dear sister of Jane Capella (Don, deceased) and Nick Yannantuono (deceased).
Carol played the violin during her early years making it all the way to 1st chair in the high school orchestra. She worked for the US Navy during World War II in the shipping deployment department. She took various adult classes such as flower arranging, basic auto mechanics, and also learned to crochet. Carol was proud that she learned how to swim at the age of 50 joining an adult women’s swim class, and making it all the way up to ‘top swimmer’ status. She loved to cook and has passed down her recipes to her family especially her meatloaf, soup and spaghetti sauce recipes along with several other delicious dishes. She was a huge life long baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, now known as the Guardians. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed.
