Dianne M Catalioti

DIANNE CATALIOTI (Farinacci) passed away November 28th 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Dianne is the daughter of Sam and Marie Farinacci and the loving wife of the late Joseph Catalioti. She is survived by her sister Marilyn Dalessio (Anthony). Dianne leaves behind daughters Jackie Bajzel, Cheri Pederson (Doug Cross) and former son-in law Russell Pederson. Step daughters Joanne Catalioti Adams (John), Kathleen Spitaleri (Joe), grandchildren Lauren Dean (Brent), Tom Urda, Andrew Pederson, Kurt Blakeway, Jimmy Bajzel, Sam Pederson and Marissa Adams. Great grandchildren Logan and Kendall Dean as well as many godchildren and cousins. She also leaves behind her lifelong friend Mary (Manfroni) Hard.

Dianne was raised in South Euclid, Ohio. She attended St. Gregory the Great elementary school where she formed many lasting friendships. She graduated from Brush High School in1958. In her teenage years Dianne worked at many retail stores including Halle’s department store in Cleveland. She later moved to Chesterland Ohio to raise her family where she resided for more than 50 years. In the early 1970’s Dianne was as a dispatcher for the Mayfield Hts police department. She later was employed at Lyndhurst Municipal Court as the Chief Deputy Clerk of the traffic and criminal division retiring in 2001 . Dianne enjoyed decorating her home, reading, and following the Cleveland Indians. She was a dedicated Grandmother and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up. Her kind ways will live on in the hearts of many.

A special thanks to Dr. Jason Stern for the last 16 unexpected years we had with her, Dr. Vincent Dalassandro for his many years of caring for Dianne, the staff of Hillcrest Cleveland Clinic comfort and hospice care, the girls of Haven Home and Brian Romana (physical therapist). She had fun making Brian keep up with her.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for the Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday December 2nd at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6850 Mayfield Rd. Gates Mills, OH 44040.
