FRANK G. LaPLACA age 90, passed away June 28, 2019. Beloved husband of 65 years to Virginia (nee Imbrosciano); dearest father of Angelo (Jodie) and Anthony (Lilly Maslak); devoted grandfather of DeAnna, Michael, Jennifer (Matthew Sherman) and Anna; dear brother of the following deceased: Mary LaPlaca, Concettina Ragonese (Joseph) and John DiFrancesco (Angelina). Frank lived a full life surrounded by a loving, happy family centered around his cherished wife Virginia and life-long friends. He loved to entertain, golf and travel. Born in Cleveland in 1928 and raised in Cesaro, Sicily, Frank returned to Cleveland, married his sweetheart and built a grocery store business with many loyal and satisfied customers and employees. He always had a warm smile and a kind word of encouragement for every one he met. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Frank's memory to Jennings Center for Older Adults, 10204 Granger Rd.
