Loving husband of Margaret “ Marge” (née Stoskus) for 69 years. Beloved son of the late Lena and Libert Picciano; loving father of Gerald “ Jerry”, Susan Skocaj (Joe), Janet (deceased), Carolyn Kollin (Tim), and Joanne Fox (Paul); dear brother of Marian Roccosalva (George) (both deceased), Theresa Danolfo (Joseph deceased), and Georgiene Picciano (deceased); devoted grandfather of Adrienne Poelking (Nick), Adam Kollin (Randeep), Lauren Ribic (Andrej), Emily Kollin, Luke Kollin, Cory Fox and Kara Fox; great grandfather of seven; dear Uncle Sonny to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He proudly served as a Seabee in the Naval Reserves. He was honorably discharged in 1988 with the rank of Chief. A private service was held for the immediate family. John was laid to rest in the Veteran’s section of Lake View Cemetery.
