Lenore Palma Scaletta, age 88, of Mayfield Hts, Ohio, passed away January 3, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Lenore was born in Cleveland Ohio, September 3, 1936, to the late Anthony and Lena Centrackio (Caserta). She was married in 1955 to Dr Ronald J Scaletta DDS (deceased). Lenore grew up on Mt Carmel Ave across from Luna Park. She graduated from Hoban Dominican High School in 1954. While raising her children, Lenore worked for many years managing her husband’s thriving dental practice.
Lenore was passionate about her expanding family, loved to ballroom dance, read mystery novels, work on puzzles, was a great cook and savvy investor. She is survived by her loving children Ronald Jr (Debbie), David, Suzanne Scaletta Meola, Jacqueline Steigerwald (Dave), Gina Schmidt (David), Michael (Jennifer) and her sister, Gloria Capretta. She is Grandmother of 16 and a Great Grandmother of 4. A private ceremony will be at Knollwood Cemetery, on January 10, 2025.
