You will certainly be missed Uncle Richard!

Rich was one of the first guys I met at Ohio State back during the fall of 1976.  We immediately connected.  He was one of the reasons I wanted to join the Fijis.

He remained a good friend throughout our college days.  Whenever our paths crossed after that, (tailgate, Pig Dinner, or something else), we easily re-connected because of our mutual admiration and trust.

I could count on "Stretch".  And he could count on me.  That was good enough for us.

I will miss you, my friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. Rich was the best grandfather any child could ever ask for. He didn’t miss any practices or any games that Henry participated in. He was Henry’s rock for so many years. Gone way too soon. He will be missed more than words can say. If there was one more thing that I could say again to Rich it would be “Thank you for everything”

My Brother, we have only happy memories of the time we spent together.   The apartment we shared our senior year ... or two.   I pray everyone gets a chance to experience life the way we did.    Kim and I will always remember you for your big hugs and a never-ending smile.    RIP my friend.     Love you, Jeff and Kim.

I’m so sorry to hear of Richard’s passing. I remember him mostly as a kid in the neighborhood growing up in Copley. And of course his sister, Lynne, married my brother Steve many years later! My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends  at this difficult time. 🙏
