Just realized I hadn't heard from Tom in a while and when I went to check I found he had passed. I'm so sorry for the family.  I was on the Holiday Camplands Fire Department with him for many years and then we kept in touch via Facebook.  I will miss him very much.

I am really going to miss you Daddy Tom, You have been a second Dad to me for 48 years of my life, thanks to Holiday Camplands and the Safety Forces.  I will never forget our fires at each others lots on the weekends, or staying over and playing with Joanne or watching Carrie grow up out at camp like I did. I also won't forget the fun fishing up at the lake with Tommy, or at the Fire Hall for Bingo, Saturday Breakfasts, or the fun we all had on Labor Day Weekend when you would bring the fire trucks down to the basketball court and would string the cable up from one side to the other with the big ball on it for the fun water battle and turning the hoses on each others team.    I also will never forget the fun times we had going to PowWows together with Mom Anita down at Mohegan State Park, or going with You and Mom to Clambakes at one of your Brothers houses.  
I also will never forget sharing some Navy stories with you, and you were part of the reason I went into the Navy.
Fair Winds and Following Seas Dad, know that you will never be forgotten, and will be missed by many. God Bless You and Please Pray for all of us,  and tell Mom Anita I said HI and I miss her, and the rest of the Campgrounds group in heaven with you. 

So sorry to hear of  Tom's passing.We were grade school and High School friends. Tom always attended our class reunions.I enjoyed seeing his Good Morning messages on Face Book.
