Vladimir (Vova) Yakovlevich Kabaev, age 72, of Zlatoust, Russia passed away at home in Mayfield Heights, Ohio on Wednesday June 1, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Yakov and Maria, 1st wife Tatiana, sister Luba, and brothers Victor and Aleksey. He is survived by brother Sergey, sister Nina, children Aleksander and Yelena, 2nd wife Natalia, and his many grandchildren. Early in life he took great pride in his work as a manager at the repair depot for the state-owned rail way in Zlatoust, Russia, while later in life he found his calling as a grandfather, tinkering and fixing broken toys and teaching his grand kids to fish and play chess.
