Yolanda Gibbons

We are saddened to announce the death of our loving mother, Yolanda Gibbons ,who passed away on February 4, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Alfonsina. She is also preceded in death by her husband Paul.

Survived by: Sister, Rose Mattinson. Children: Kathy Bizjak (Gary), Laurie Marotta (Tom), and Carla Kloss. Grandchildren, Kevin Bizjak (Amy), Camden Kloss, Brady Kloss and Maria Marotta. Great Grandchildren, Madalynn, Owen, and Allison Bizjak. As well as step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and many other loved extended family members.

Her talents and hobbies included, jitterbug dancing, cooking, baking, jewelry making, reading and writing. And she excelled at all of them. Her independence was important to her especially in her later years. As a widow, her strength and self-reliance grew stronger rather than weaker. She was a person who was always concerned with the needs and concerns of others rather her own. She loved her grandchildren dearly and regularly cared for them in their young years.

We will miss her dearly and are happy to have so many wonderful memories that will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
