It’s been a year since Hannah has passed. I never knew how much of a impact her life put on me and so many others. Hannah was such a sweet and caring person and always made us smile. She will always be by our sides. It’s tough not having Hannah at the family weddings and get togethers because she would always light up the room. Not a day goes by that I miss her and I wish I could’ve spent more time with her. No one expected this and how sudden it happened is so hard to process. Hannah was such a great person inside and out and touched so many. When she passed I couldn’t accept that she wasn’t here anymore. It still hits me, especially today. I love you Hannah❤️

Dear Kevin and Peg,
One year has now gone by without your precious Hannah Mary.  How is it that a young girl could make such an impact on so many lives but Hannah truly did in her own humble way.  The countless tears you have shed and sadness you continue to feel must be excruciatingly painful.  Even during this heartbreaking year you have all graciously attended so many celebrations - from grad parties to weddings to holiday gatherings, only to name a few.  And at these events we all feel the absence of Hannah but you have put on such brave faces for all of us.  The strength you have shown is incredible. You both could not have been better parents to Hannah and it showed through her caring, loving soul and laughter we all miss hearing.  Always know our arms are wrapped around you, John, Liz, Danny, Lauren and Matt.  I know Hannah will continue to get you through those down days and be there smiling with all of you during the happy ones as well.   Hannah will continue to carry you through everyday until you have your angel back in your arms again.

Hey Hannah it's your cousin Garrett the next time I'm visiting Connecticut I will visit you. I know you probably don´t think it's been long since your passing but, it's been almost a year now. Happy Late Birthday and Happy New Year!!. Everyone misses you so so much I can't even describe it to you. Hannah was the best cousin I could have ever asked for.
I feel guilty not spending more time with her at family reunions or at the beach while on vacation. If you had the chance to meet Hannah then you were very lucky to be in her life. We all know she is looking down on her three brothers, parents, and the rest of her cousins. I love her so much, when she died my parents came down and said “ Garrett I’m sorry you had to hear about Hannah before Claire or Ryan”  she told the news and I started hugging my mom. When I hugged my mom I said “I feel guilty not spending time with here I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry”. Matt, Danny, John, Liz, Uncle Kevin, and Aunt Peggy  I wish you the best in life and focus on spending time with your family because you never know what will happen to someone in your family. Hannah and my friendship began at 6th grade lunch when we came to learn that we both had an obsession for One Direction (some may have deemed it to be unhealthy, but others will understand).  Little did we know that while plotting our plans to make Niall and Harry fall in love with us, we were forming a bond that would last forever.  Hannah is the most easy going, welcoming, kind, funny and selfless friend I have ever had.  Even after countless sleepovers, weekend trips, strategically planning our schedules to have classes together, and even sharing a locker all throughout high school, I never got sick of being around H. She loved sharing stories about her family and told them in a way that made you feel like you were there.  Every person in her family meant the world to her and getting to spend time with them all throughout the years has been such a blessing.  Going from an awkward middle schooler to young adult with Hannah has been filled with so many milestones and I am so lucky to have shared them all with her. She has a place in my heart that will remain with me forever.  

To the Weirs and your entire family, thank you for allowing me to tag along on so many occasions, for giving me a chance to see your love for each other, and most importantly for letting me know and love Hannah.  Her love for each and every one of you will never fade. You all will be in my prayers and have a place in my heart forever. There aren’t enough things I can say, but I know she is watching over you from heaven.

I thank god each and every day to have known the giggly, fun and bright girl Hannah was. When I think about growing up, from our Hannah Montana halloween costumes to our pina coloda slushies in obx, I think of H. The years we spent swimming late night at mountain grove, taking trips to her gymnastics meets, laughing until it hurt and spending each moment with one another throughout our younger years, this was just a glimpse of the friendship we created. You were my person and will always be that. I can go on about all the memories that were made, but the bond we shared and will continue to share will never be broken. Just as your dad said, we were just two old women enjoying each other’s company, and that’s all we ever needed. My heart hurts, but I know I have an angel watching over me, always looking for a way to make everybody around her laugh. You are so special, H. I love you more than I can express into words.

To Kevin, Peg, John, Danny and Matt, I love you all so much. You meant the world to Hannah and always will. She was so incredibly loved by everyone she met, with that beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Know that myself, my family and so many others are always here and we love you.

     When I think of you, I catch myself imagining the spunky little girl I looked forward to seeing at every holiday, every vacation, every family gathering. Having you there was always a given. Hannah was such a delight to live next door to. When we moved here we were so excited to have kids in the neighborhood to play with and Hannah was the first one to ring our door bell.

We will miss her incredible kindness, smile, and  laugh. Our hearts go out to all of you during this really tough time and you are in our prayers. We are right next door if you need anything at all.

To Mr and Mrs Weir I wanted to give my deepest condolences. Hannah was such a light in such a tough time in my life in high school, your daughter was one of my best friends. She will always be remembered as a smart, charismatic, kind, hilarious, giving person to me and to so many others. You both did an immaculate job raising Hannah, you did everything right I promise you that. To Kevin, Danny, and Matt I am so sorry. I know how much she loved being sister, she will always love you guys forever and always, that’s sibling love. 
I remember in high school planning Hannah’s surprise birthday party with Mrs and Mr Weir in their basement, I remember how hard it was to make a guest list because Hannah has SO MANY friends! She really was loved by everyone and she always will be. 

Hannah lit up every room she walked in. Her laugh was contagious and her sense of humor was better than ever. Watching Hannah grow up was an honor. She was not just my little sister’s best friend, but she was truly family. I was lucky just to be around her. She knew how to make you laugh and charm you with her smile. She loved her family more than anything and valued true friendships so much. Hannah, I love you. I’m so proud of everything you are. I feel blessed to have known you for all these years and I will continue to live life to the fullest for you. I’ll love and miss you forever.

Words can’t even begin to describe how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Hannah was one of the beautiful people inside and out and that’s not something I put lightly. I treasure in knowing Hannah and being even just a little part of her life. She was always laughing and always making sure everyone was in a good mood. She really lit up a room when she came in. She was so vibrant. My heart aches for you all and I hope you find comfort in your memories with her as I will. I am so happy I had the chance to meet this beautiful angel and I know she will be safe up there.

Hello,  I am sorry to hear about the passing of Hannah. She was such a very active person in many ways. I remember senior year of high school gym class it didn’t matter what sport game was picked whether it was badminton and Hannah offered if I would like to be on her team and I said yes. Her personality was awesome being #1 in scoring a lot of points, definitely will miss that a lot. Also will miss your biggest smile and you being in the spotlight for the crowd who knew you. May your family continue to heal through this difficult time

Peg and family...I am devastated to hear this. I really enjoyed the time I spent with her at the gym. She was so easy to coach - not just because she was talented, but because she was a good person. I remember the Regionals she had the stomach flu, where she still decided to compete - that was Hannah! My heart is aching for you, but I’ll alway remember her laugh and smile.

Hannah was an amazing girl who never failed to put a smile on my face. Although she didn’t know it, she helped me out of a really dark time and I am forever grateful for that. We weren't the closest of friends but every time I saw her it was always a time to remember. The last time I saw her was at my going away party before I moved to South Carolina from Southington, and I am so happy I got to spend that night with her. She was the type of person you met, and could never forget about, a one of a kind type of soul. I am so sorry for you loss and everyone that knew her will miss her dearly. I remember meeting you in the 2nd grade at Thalberg and you were just a ray of sunshine. Always had a smile, always positive and caring for everyone around you. We grew apart throughout the years but whenever we had a conversation it felt as if no time had passed and still have the memories. Hannah and I began our friendship at YMCA gymnastics center when we were little. Our friendship continued and we found ourselves within the same friend group in high school. I’ll never forget her being one of my first clients as I started my spray tan journey back in 2015. She always supported me, no matter what I was doing. She was even a customer with my hair and skincare business. We were cracking up that I put in Hannah Weird on her account by mistake instead of Weir, something that silly lasted us a 5 minute laugh. Hannah was a type of friend that we could pick up wherever we left off, no matter if it’s been weeks or months.  We were so excited to be in the same math class together at CCSU. We had our fancy bagel runs and I’d pick her up in the morning here and there. She made me actually want to go to math class, she really had the best humor. Her laugh was contagious. I’m going to miss her and being able to Snapchat her at the most random times. I am happy to have had such great memories with Hannah, such an amazing girl inside and out, and a great friend. I send my love and prayers to the family❤️

Hannah (Hannuchka by Gabbie’s grandfather) was one of Gabbie’s friends that could have stayed at our house for weeks. I adored her and loved that Gabbie and her were friends. She was a sweet, kind, funny soul who I feel honored to have known. I will never forget her smile, which I feel like she was always wearing. I cannot even begin to imagine the sadness that your family is going through and I am so sorry.  Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
