I will always remember Joan......she was one of my professors at FIU  in the mid 70's.   I then did my internship at Easter Seals under her leadership........great woman.




Joan was like my second mom, growing up in North Miami Beach. She was so very caring and had an infectious laugh. My 5 summers at Camp Louise were made special because of her. 
Deep sympathies and love to Rachelle, Jonny and Avram. 

Joan represented the best of Camp Louise and she generously shared her skills, knowledge, and heart with so many of us over the years. My love to Ben, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. 

My very first rabbinical posting was at Temple Israel in Miami. My wife, Joyce, worked for Joan at Easter Seal Society in Miami and we stayed with the Bornsteins while we searched for a place to live. We have such wonderful memories of Joan. May her memory be an eternal blessing.

So sorry to hear of Joan’s passing.   She dedicated her life to helping others and touched so many lives.  She will be missed. 

Sending love and prayers to all who love Joan. Joan was a huge part of my Camp Louise experience and my heart is heavy with this loss. Her kind heart and generous spirit will live through all  of us who were blessed to know her.

I'll always remember Joan with a warm smile on her face and the adoring looks she gave to her loved ones.  Thank you for giving me my first job at Temple Israel Sunday school when I was 13(?).  I know you made up that job but I was so happy to have it and to be able to work your daughter, my dear friend.  My deepest condolences to all of the family and may your memory forever be a blessing.
