Judith, born in Los Angeles, California, lived in Miami, Florida her entire life. She grew up in Miami Beach and graduated from Beach High in 1956. She was an educator and had a Master’s degree in English literature. She worked for Dade County Public Schools for 30 years. Judith was very involved in the community over the years. In 1976, she was president of the National Council of Jewish Women. She loved to read and play bridge, and was part of the Brandeis Book Club for many years. Her Jewish faith was also important to her. She was a longtime member of Temple Judea of Coral Gables, Florida. She met the love of her life, Lenny, in 1994. They had a special relationship together for over 30 years. She also loved her children, who were the joy of her life. She is survived by her husband Lenny, and her children Todd Palgon, Tamara Palgon, and Allyson Baker (Derek), and her step children Adam Weinstein (Hilary), and Brian Weinstein, and her beautiful grandchildren Lucy and Ethan.
