COHEN, Louis, 88 passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2017 at home where he wished to be. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he moved to Miami with his beloved wife of 61 years, Beverly (preceded in death). Lou and Bev were owners of the hippest clothing stores: Experiment #2 and LePlayer. His time outside of the stores and retirement were spent mostly with his family, watching every sports team and knowing every stat. He is survived by his four children: Jackie Weissman (Steve), Cathy Pretsky (Michael), Lynn Cohen (predeceased), and Jeff Cohen (Patty); and his grandchildren: Chad (Julie), Heather (Vince), Justin (Maria), Michelle (John), Renee (Rene), Lindsay (Nick), Brandon (Andrea), Laura (Ted), Jeffrey (Jordan), and Chelsea (Matt). He loved his visits with his great grandchildren: Locke, Kennedy, Stephen, Jaxson, Stephanie, Danny, Logan, Mason, Nicholas II, and TJ. His years were full of many fury 4-legged friends especially Louie. The family is eternally grateful to his loving, selfless caregiver for the past three years, Isis Colindres. You were our angel not to mention daddy's "girlfriend." Please share his celebration of life with us on Monday, May 8th, 2017 at Mt. Nebo Kendall Memorial Gardens, 5900 SW 77 Avenue, at 3:30 pm with interment to follow. In remembrance of Louis, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
