

Mrs. Marion Domowitz Kamolnick, daughter of Theodore and Eva Domowitz, born July 23, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2013, in the presence of her sons and nephew following an extended illness. She and her husband moved to south Florida in 1957. She has been a resident of Hollywood, Florida, since 1983.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Sidney; sister Ida Domowitz Friedman; brother Julius Domowitz; brother Irving Domowitz; and her dear twin sister Marge Lewis. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Domowitz Sten; son Steve and wife Tricia; son Paul; son Bruce and wife Pina; grandchildren Sydney, Shayna, Joshua, Gabrielle, Alexis, and Levi; sister-in-law Dorothy Domowitz; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was a loyal wife, loving mother, and a true friend who will be best remembered by family and friends for her indomitable spirit, zest for life, and a smile that lit up every room she entered. She retired at age 70 after 30 years with Purity Condiments in customer service. She also volunteered at Memorial Hospital for several years following her retirement. She enjoyed going to movies, bowling, playing cards, and dining out with friends, and established the Domowitz Family Reunion in 1995.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 28, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt Nebo Cemetery.
She and her family express sincere gratitude for the care and compassion of her physicians Dr. Jorge Barros and Dr. Fausto Delacruz and the staff who provided care for her. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the National Institute for the Blind or the American Lung Association.
