 I knew Skip for just the past couple of years, and then only as a golf buddy.  But even this relatively casual contact was more than sufficient to inspire in me considerable respect and affection for him.  
 Most Saturday mornings we would sally forth on the course with Jack Coe and Jerry Hubbart, in our (often unrequited) attempt to appease the golf gods.  
 Skip was always a complete gentleman and a perfect golf buddy – dependable, good humored, modest, and solicitous toward others, though not lacking the golfer's occasional pique at his own mis-hits or slow play ahead of us.
 I was touched to learn at his funeral and from this memorial book that in his professional life he was no different, and so commanded wide admiration, respect, and affection.
     I offer my profound sympathy to his family in this unexpected tragedy, and I too will greatly miss their beloved husband and father.

Going back to the 70's, Skip Gross was a wonderful boss, & he & Bobbi became good friends.  I was fortunate to have spent a little time with his children when they we young.  Eli & I were saddened to learn of his passing, as Skip was a "good one" & he will be missed.

Gross Family,
Skip and I had such wonderful times at the University of Miami. We studied but we also found enough time to relax and pursue other interesting endeavors. Years later we continue to find constructive things to do. Skip was a wonderful person and I shall always remember him as a man of enormous quality. May his sense of civility always remain.

My family case was in front of Judge Gross. I was saddened to hear of his passing. He was a true Professional. He looked out for fairness and my child through his courtroom. I did not always like a ruling, but knew that he was fair and honest. I thank God for the fact that he would seek the truth and fairness in his court. I will always hold him in high regard and respect. God bless.

I did not get a chance to meet Skip but have the pleasure of knowing and being friends with his son Mitch.  I can attest for what a wonderful father he was, by the nature of the son he raised.

 On behalf of all of the Riverside Military Academy class of 1958 we wish to extend our condolences to Skip’s family. We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit with him at some recent reunions and at our alumni event in Miami last year. We will all have fond remembrances of him at our future meetings.

Skip Gross was a dear friend of mine when we both attended Riverside Military Academy for our high school years.  Even then his great character was recognized anm he was elected to the student Honor Court that heard charges of honor code violations.  His legacy extends to his high school friends as well as his more recent friends.  William Krein
