Michael Sparber

Michael Sparber, 89, of Aventura, Florida passes away on December 12, 2012. Born in the Bronx, New York, he grew up in the Depression years and went on to become a self-made, self-educated man. He obtained a Master’s degree in Speech and a Law degree, became an educator and teacher, and a very successful trial attorney. He was a pioneer in the arena of Childrens Weight Loss Camps and operated successful camps for Weight Watchers. He was a founding member of Mouth Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

He is survived by three beautiful children, Tony (Dale) Sparber, Linda Sparber and Debbie (Todd) Brilliant, three adored grandchildren, Zachary Sparber, Sasha and Sam Hecht, and his loving and devoted wife, Carol.

Funeral Services on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 12 Noon at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel, 20955 Biscayne Boulevard, Aventura, Florida with Rabbi Edwin Farber officiating. Entombment follows the services at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, Florida 33172.
