Andi and I send our belated condolences to the Schechter family from the Feinberg family who Murray cared for until his retirement.
He was a doctor's doctor according to Dr Marty Cohen a friend ,colleague,   and  an on call doctor for Murray..
He had the best "bed side manor "  and as an internist was knowledgeable in several specialties as a diagnostician.
To Trayce, Sandy, Jack and their families, Murray and Joyce  were so proud of you..

It is with great sadness we learn of Dr. Schechter's passing. I always enjoyed talking with him about South Africa and learning from his experiences in life. He was always supportive of the school and especially Harvest Festival,  where he would mingle with the children and faculty.  He will be sorely missed and yet well remembered.

To my favorite family from the old days, it was a privilege to know and love both of your parents. 
Murray taught Jackie and I the perfect and effective lesson about honesty that I’ve passed on to my own children. 
Long ago Murray took us to Publix on the way to temple. We put candy bars in our pockets and Murray turned, called the manager and asked if we apologized and gave the candy back,would we be able to leave? Jackie and I were mortified !
Murray was a class act, and I will truly miss him.  My thoughts and love are with all of you. Laurie ❤️
