Rest well, Brother.  My records indicate that we are all from a group of Malone's that settled in middle Tennessee and North Alabama in the 1840's/1850's.

Dr. Malone was a powerful and reassuring figure at St. Johns, guiding its staff and students with kindness and knowledge. His familiar figure walking generations of his beloved dogs through his neighborhood will be a landmark fondly remembered by the Orange Park community. Al will be greatly missed by all he touched with his presence.

  I knew Dr. Malone from his time at  SJRCC. He was always helpful to students,staff and faculty. He will be greatly  missed.
