Bernard was a member of the Lake Asbury Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs where he faithfully attended and served for many years. He loved to work in his garden.
Bernard was pre-deceased by his first wife, Bobbie, as well as his other siblings. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mary; four sons: Michael, Keith, Sidney and Paul; and a host of step-daughters, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, September 14, at 11 AM at Lake Asbury Baptist Church, 2674 Henley Road, preceded by visitation from 10-11 AM. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Rd. in Middleburg. Arrangements by HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME.
