Betty A. Geer

Betty Austin Geer, age 72, passed away on October 11, 2020 in Orange Park, Florida. Betty was born on February 21, 1948 in Hillsborough County, Florida to Elzie Jasper Austin and Thelma Alberta Hood Austin. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Thelma Austin. She is survived by her children, Charles “Wade” Geer, Samantha Jeffers (James), and Charlene Geer; grandchildren Charlie W. Jeffers, Justin Coger, and Jaelynn Coger; and siblings Bernice “Boonie” Tatham (Lee) and Joseph “Buck” Austin (Jean).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
