

Dean Michael Hilliard, 68, passed on April 26, 2026. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL to the late, Dean and Bess Hilliard. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after 20 years, a time in his life that reflected his strength, discipline, and commitment.
He was a devoted husband who took pride in providing for his wife. He was also a proud father, always showing up for his children as they built families of their own. He was a deeply loving grandfather who gave everything he could to his grandchildren and cherished them wholeheartedly.
A quiet man by nature, he valued his alone time but found comfort in simply knowing his family was nearby. He carried a subtle sense of humor, often using it as a shield while navigating the weight of real life.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his provision, and the deep love he carried for his family.
Dean is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diane M. Hilliard; 2 daughters: Joy M. Broadwater and Charity A. Williams and Husband Shawn Williams; brother, Mark Hilliard; 2 sisters: Beverly Richards and Deborah Fucci; 7 grandchildren: Joshua Broadwater, Isaac Ramos, Keyshawn Williams, Aliyah Whitfield, Desirae Ramos, Shaun Whitfield and Jahrel Williams; and a host of extended family and friends.
