Orange Park resident Eleanor "Bunny" Rose Williams passed away peacefully at Brookdale Crown Point Senior Care Center, surrounded by her loving family on September 23, 2017,after suffering from the effects of advanced dementia. She was 82. Eleanor was born on December 8, 1934 as a 2 pound premature baby "Bunny" in Sharples, West Virginia to Maggie Sue Dolin and Dennis Edmond Bias. She grew up in Logan County and attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. There she met "handsome" Marshal University football player Robert Ray Williams and after her graduation in Education, married him on December 23, 1955 in Boone Country, West Virginia. Their Marriage was latter solomnized in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on August 8, 1960. After graduation, she and Bob moved to Akron, Ohio and there she raised four children: Mike (Renee-divorced) Williams (Hawaii), Bruce (Alice) Williams (Alaska), Mark (Bernie) Williams (Ohio) and Esther (Kalani) Mitte (Florida). Bob and Bunny were married for 55 years before Bob's passing in 2011. At the time of her passing Bunny had 11 grandchildren: Ashley, Chris, Tyler (Hawaii), Bruce (Utah) Alyssa, Sarah (Alaska), Sabrina, Mark, Levi (Ohio) and Jordan, Cheyenne (Florida) and 8 great grandchildren. As she was raising her children, she also found time to work, first in the Tallmadge School District as a Junior High teacher and later as a Legal Clerk at the Akron Legal News. Her hobbies and interests' included music, ballroom dancing, science fiction, teaching, sunny weather, telling fascinating stories to her young children during a thunderstorm, and creating her own words we called 'bunnyisms" She had a quick wit, was wise and many young people sought her counsel. Perhaps most important to her was following the teachings of Jesus Christ. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which she and Bob joined as newlyweds in Huntington, West Virginia. She served in various church callings such as early morning seminary teacher, visiting teacher, many auxiliary presidencies teaching the youth, and as a volunteer missionary employment specialist in Jacksonville, Florida. One of her favorite acts of service was playing the piano for many congregations and various musical presentations. She was especially known for adding her own unique piano flair to every number she played. Playing the piano was one of the things she enjoyed the most.
