Ethan grew up in the church and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour at an early age. He was very active in both the bus ministry and music ministry.
Ethan was intelligent, talented, and very creative. After graduating from Berean Christian Academy in 2008, he pursued a career in automotive repair, restoration, fabrication, and additional custom work. He had an entrepreneurial spirit that led him to launch several automotive-related businesses of his own.
Ethan was fun-loving and impetuous. He was always up for a challenge and liked to flirt with “danger.” Being obsessed with any type of vehicle, especially the ones that could go at high speeds, motivated him to seek out ways to satisfy his “need for speed” whether on a roller coaster, in a car, or on a motorcycle.
All who knew him are well aware of how deeply he loved his friends and family. He was loyal to a fault. Everyone who loved him will miss his impish grin and smiling eyes that indicated his “wheels” were always turning.
Ethan is preceded in death by his grandparents: Harry H. Fultz, Sr., Shirley Anne Roll/Summers/Harma, and William Summers, Jr.; his uncle William Summers III; and his cousin Crystal Marie Fultz/Padgett. He is survived by his grandparents Margaret (William) Resner, his parents Pamela (Robert) Triplett and Gordon (Midge) Summers, and his siblings Andrea Triplett, Gregory Triplett, Leanne (Daniel) Dix, Reed Triplett, Matthew Axley, and Hannah (Zach) Mills.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Ethan’s honor to his high school alma mater Berean Christian Academy (bccanes.org) and to the bus ministry of the Immanuel Baptist Church (immanueljax.org).
