Gwen Marie LaTour Fraser, 56, passed away October 8, 2016. The light is less bright today. We have lost a beautiful spark to God's loving hands. The spark of a generous heart and caring disposition. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister and best friend, she leaves in her wake a love that touched all our lives. She was born in Amsterdam, New York but lived for the beach- her happy place. A creative spirit, she lovingly made many things for her family and friends. Her house was open to anyone in need. An angel to animals, large or small, who sheltered many rescued animals. Mrs. Fraser is survived by her children; Joshua Fraser, Meghan Sigler and Shane LaTour, three grandchildren and siblings; Jerry, Kenneth (Lynda), Dr. Larry and Mary LaTour and preceded in death by mother; Marie E. and father; Frank G. LaTour. A memorial mass will be held 10 AM Thursday October 20, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 US-17 Fleming Island, FL 32003.
