John Anthony Vickers, born on November 21, 1943, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 82. A resident of Middleburg, Florida, John was known for being adventurous, beloved, brave, generous, hard-working, loyal, selfless, and gentle.
John served his country with distinction, completing two tours in Vietnam. His dedication and bravery in service were a testament to his character and his commitment to his nation.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter S. Vickers and Gladys Mitchell, as well as his son, Michael Vickers. He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Vickers, and son-in-law, David Vickers, along with his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Levi, Très, Melitta, and August. John found great joy in riding his Harley, antiquing, and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life is to be planned early in 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember John's remarkable life.
