I can't believe it's been 2 years since God called you home. I still miss that smile and that belly laugh and the jokes and stories we told. I know you are looking down on us laughing!!! Laughing at the little things that the average person wouldn't even find comical. You were such an inspiration to me Pam. You were the most selfless person I ever met. I pray that I can be half as noble as you were. I love you Pam. Until we meet again......

Pam was a good friend and coworker during my time at OPMC.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  I will always remember our trip to the Stanley Cup game in Tampa!

Pam there's not a day that goes by I'm not thinking about you.  I love you so much.  Your uncle Johnny was just asking about you and your kids a few days before God called you home.
I remember one of the times when you were up here, you were a young teenager. We went to Bell island amusement park, I was never one to ride the rides but you begged me to go on the Roller coaster.  I finally got on with you and screamed the whole time.  I said I'll never do that again.  Of course you loved it.   I'm so thankful for the memories we had.

Where do I start. I am at a loss for words. When you have known someone so long and worked next to them for many years.  We have shared the highs and lows of our job, personal lives, and so much more.  You were such a strong woman. I learned how to be patient when we had no control over the situation.  You were one of a kind. You were a great Mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. I am going to miss you - you will watch over everyone because that is you.  Love you girl! ❤️

Pam in the time I knew her made me laugh at work almost as much as possible. She told the funniest stories that she had been through. She also knew a person and how they felt. I learned so much from her. She loved her children and family so much. What a blessing God gave each and everyone of us to have her touch our lives.

I was the labor and delivery manager when I hired Pam. She was a new RN. She was like a sponge  while learning as a L&D nurse.  No words can express my wonderful memories of her. I loved her  like my own family.  She always as cheerful and full of love.  She helped so many families bring their bundle of joy into this world as well as helping others in her community.  She volunteered at a food pantry and was always their for her family, her friends and everyone she knew. She was a great and loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all and now she has the loving arm of God on her.  I dearly love you Pam and my heart will always have a missing piece without you.

Dear sweet Pam, you were more than just a niece to us.  We are not prepared to let you go but we must. God needs you more than we do.  We love you dearly.

Pam was one of the nurses working in L&D at OPH when I was still working there many years ago.  The day shift nurses all liked each & would spend play time together after work.  I have been gone for a long time but that was my favorite group of nurses I ever knew. Pam was very special, so easy to get her giggeling.  She was the kindest nurse I ever knew.  I unfortunately have not seen her in a long time but I have never forgotten her.  I too cried when I heard this horrible story concerning her demise & still just can't believe what happened to her.  May the Angels keep her in their special care.  I pray for her family & hope God comforts them all.  Peace be with you!

Pam my sister I never thought this day would come so soon. You were my sister, my nurse, my answer to every question I had for you . You even delivered my own daughter.  You were kind and loving to everyone you came in contact with and would do anything for anyone. You were my rock when we lost our brother Brian. Me mom and dad, Beth, Sean,and Seth and all of your grandchildren miss you dearly .I don't know which way to turn now but I know you will guide me in your soft special way. I can't believe you are gone so soon .  You left us doing what you loved doing and that was sitting on those two wheels riding and just letting   your mind run free. I was Pam's hair stylist for about 30 years. She wasn't just a client but a dear friend to me. I was so fortunate to have her as a nurse for three of my children. She went out of her way to make sure my daughter-in-law and baby was well taken care of.  She's definitely a Angel and will thoroughly be missed. Love you, Pam

I first remember Pam bringing me patients at work and she was such a great caring nurse it was hard not to notice. As I worked with her over the years we had a lot of different jobs and a lot of fun when we were not at work. She had a number of different jobs at OPMC and I am happy I got to work with her in many of these positions, she was someone to count on doing the job to the best of her abilities. Pam will be missed as my friend.

Lee and Family,  We are sorry for your loss.  You are in our hearts and in our prayers. 

Pam was always smiling and could make you giggle in the most special way. I loved her sense of humor. She could tell you a joke with a straight face like few can. She would give you the shirt off her back if she knew you needed it. I enjoyed spending time with her and we always had fun. She was my work buddy and my friend. I will never forget her or the times we had.

I want her family to know that she was very proud of her children's accomplishments and loved all of her family very much. 

Susie, Lee and family:  Words cannot express my feelings on the loss of Pam.  I remember her well - such a sweet girl.  You all are in my thoughts and prayers.  

Pam....  you were always so positive no matter what happened - you always had a smile on your face.  Saying "we can do this - no matter what it was".  You are a very special person and I will always have fond memories of our "biker mom".  Love you!

Pam, you were one of the kindest people that I have ever met.  You always had a smile on your face, saw the best in any situation and your glass was forever full, never empty.  We've had the pleasure to sit through many volleyball and basketball games and watch our kids play.  Your were so very proud when Seth was signed to play college ball!  The joy of all the children was the center of your world.  Sean's announcement of baby Hawes was a source happiness for you recently.  And of course Beth and her little ones melted your heart.  As a nurse, I was proud of you when you finished your MSN.  You've touched many lives personally and professionally.  I'm sorry that you've left us so soon and will miss you more than words can say.

Ms. Hawes is survived by her three children; Elizabeth (Ted), Sean (Amber), and Seth. Three grandchildren; Theo (10), Chloe (8), Aidan (4) and a new grandbaby on the way.  Parents Susan (Lee) Quinn and Ronald Potter. Four Brothers; Danny Quinn, Bill (Jenn) Potter, Mark Potter, Ron (Mary) Potter, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Quinn.
