

Ronald "Ronny" Scott Pentifallo or "Sir Purple", of Orange City, FL, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 in Ozark, AR. He was born October 12, 1968 in Key West, Florida and was 45 years of age. He was the son of the late Jon Carmen Pentifallo and Shirley Gail Ledbetter. Growing up in Orange Park, Florida he attended both W.E. Cherry and Doctors Inlet Elementary Schools, Lakeside Middle School and graduated from Middleburg High School. He then continued his education at Tampa Tech, located in Tampa, Florida. Ronny married Darsha Brantley and had one son Kyle. They divorced and Ronny re-married Melissa Cosby who had four sons. In Ronny's life he tried many professions but ultimately fell in love with over the road truck driving. Ronny continuously shared stories of the places he experienced and often spoke of his truck as his home away from home. At home, whether it be a boardgame, movie, swimming, horsing around or one on one with each son, he did his best with wife Melissa at rearing a family of five sons into young men. Ronny a unique soul, was hilarious, charismatic, witty and typically and everyday jokester. Ronny adapted the nickname "Sir Purple" in high school by friends and classmates for always wearing something purple and the love for the color. Whether it was his 65 Corvair or a new shirt, he continued to infuse purple into everyday life. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Ronald is survived by: Mother, Shirley Pentifallo, Step-Father, Jeffrey Perry, Wife, Melissa Cosby-Pentifallo, Brothers, Craig Pentifallo, Michael Pentifallo, Joseph Pentifallo, Sons, Kyle Pentifallo, Mason McHenry, Jared McHenry, Cameron McHenry, Donovan Rhein, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 3:00PM at HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd. Middleburg, Fl 32068 (904)282-9336.
