Sheila D. Chambless, 69, passed away August 19, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida. Sheila graduated from high school at Orange Park High School. While Sheila retired from a management position in healthcare benefits, her work with the high school students at Trinity Christian Academy and in ministry at both Madeira Baptist Church (now Centerpoint Baptist Church) and Trinity Baptist Church were the most enjoyable. Sheila impacted many lives, lead many people to Christ and was loved by so many. She is remembered her for her smile, her laugh, and her love for Jesus. She will be missed by so many, but we know she is so happy to be in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Leon Cozart and Millerine Joyce Cozart (Herring), and her brother Michael Cozart. Sheila’s surviving family include her brother Rick Cozart (Elena Cozart) Orange Park, Florida, her daughters Stephanie Monroe (Matthew Monroe) in Orange Park, FL, and Stacie Baird (Brian Baird) in Jacksonville Florida, and her son Shawn Chambless in Orange Park, Florida and Her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Tyler, Alexis, Emmaleigh, and Easton Baird in Jacksonville, Florida, and Asa, Elijah, and Ayva Monroe in Orange Park Florida, and Lucas Hickman-Chambless in Orange Park, FL.
A private service with family will be held to celebrate the life of Sheila. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sheila’s home church’s building (Trinity Baptist Oakleaf) fund via the link provided below.
