Sylvia Jean Stevens, age 88, of Jacksonville Florida went to be with the Lord September 2nd 2021. Sylvia was preceded in death by her first husband Rodney Hinson Sr, her second husband David Stevens and her son Timothy Stevens.
She is survived by her sons Rodney Hinson (Rhonda) and Mike Stevens as well as daughter in law Kathy Burch (Troy). Grandchildren Buddy Hinson (Michelle), April Thompson (Charles), Aaron Stevens (Savannah), and Kellie Garrett (Caleb). Great grandchildren Caleb, Zach, Sara, Aden, Lydia, Amelia, Brody, Wesley, Tristen, and Sawyer.
She was a loving wife and mother. Faithful member of Shindler Drive Baptist Church for many years. She was a dutiful pastor's wife: serving as a Sunday school teacher, pianist and counselor. She was a 6th grade teacher and retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
